**The Role**
The Regional Homelessness Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing CHL’s high quality, customer focused homelessness service delivery in the Gippsland area. The key outcome of the role is to ensure the provision of quality homelessness services to our customers. The Coordinator Homelessness Services is primarily accountable for:
- Coordination and promotion of CHL’s crisis housing services in the region
- Leading staff to deliver high quality assessment and referral services in a timely and responsive manner
- Liaison with government departments, community support agencies, and the general public
- Management and authorisation of program funds and payments, as well as meeting reporting requirements
- Increase the profile and reputation of CHL through improvement of quality service delivery and the implementation of customer service standards

**About You**
You will be responsible for managing a team and overseeing the delivery of service and implementation of program standards. In addition, you will be accountable for the recommendation of any program improvements and undertake relevant reporting.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Comprehensive knowledge of housing options, Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation
- Relevant qualifications in the community services field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role including managing remote staff
- Understanding of the community, social and/or public housing sectors
- Networks within current or potential partner organisations
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Satisfactory Police, NDIS Worker Screening and Working With Children’s Checks
