We’re looking for a passionate and experienced **Inclusion Project Officer** to support early childhood services in embedding inclusive practices for children with additional needs. This role involves service visits, staff mentoring, attendance at meetings, and a focus on building strong partnerships with inclusion support agencies.

**About the Role**:
As the **Inclusion Project Officer**, you’ll play a key role in:

- Assisting with the implementation of our Inclusion Framework across Council Early Education Centres.
- Supporting educators in the development of inclusive practices for children with disabilities, trauma-based conditions, and behavioural challenges.
- Providing both on-site and off-site mentoring to educators and collaborating with families and specialists.
- Driving projects that enhance physical and learning environments to promote meaningful participation for all children.

**What You’ll Bring**:
**Essential**:

- A degree in Early Childhood Teaching or a Diploma in Children's Services.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education, disability legislation, and trauma-informed practices.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check and driver’s licence.

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of job ad closing.
- **Package**:$88,129 - $93,415 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Temporary Full Time, _position is expected to be available up to 6 months._ You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
