- **About the opportunity**:

- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer's Assistant to support our Vitamins category. This role is ideal for someone with a retail store background who is looking to transition into a buying role. You will assist in managing the product range, pricing, and promotional strategies to drive sales and profitability within the vitamins category.- The key responsibilities for the role will include:

- Assist the Category Buyer in the day-to-day operations of the category including stock allocations, auto-replenishment of orders and relaying correct product information to internal teams.
- Provide accurate information to stores and marketing teams relating to pricing of products, promotional campaigns, product and brand details and imagery.
- Act as a key point of contact to stores to share upcoming delivery information, pricing information and any promotional activity and brand activations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to plan and execute promotional activities.
- Work with the stores and Supply Planning team to monitor inventory levels and assist in ensuring optimal stock availability across the store network.
- Analyse sales data and provide regular reports on category performance.
- Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Help manage product lifecycle, including new product introductions and discontinuations.
