We are looking for an outstanding Category and Sales Manager to assist the National Sales Manager and wider team in growing sales and accounts across our extensive customer portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

- Achieve agreed sales targets by month and by customer, including sales and margin.
- Conduct sales activities to achieve short (monthly, quarterly) and long term

(yearly) business objectives which maximize profits and maximize market share.
- Identify opportunities within current customer base and with new customers in the market
- Work with customers to plan promotional activities, monthly or quarterly as appropriate
- Manage and present Category Range Reviews to Buyers as needed, growing current range and identifying NPD with in the categories
- Monitor sales trends, identify and report on opportunities and risks, maximize incremental business.
- Develop and maintain an on-going professional relationship with Buyers, Buyers, Assistants and Supply Planners.
- Managing the everyday running of accounts including costing new projects, forecasting stock levels and maintain current orders
- New Line Forms and Product submission to customers
- Liaising with our manufacturing partners OS
- Liaising with our Licensing and retail partners
- Identify opportunities and/or categories in current and potential customers
- Purchase Orders - Both Local and China
- Liaise with compliance team on production matters
- Negotiate with the supply base to deliver high quality products while achieving margin targets and growing profits
- Drive analysis of target pricing, margin, and seasonal forecasts to aid discussions around the brand PNL each season.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Degree in design, marketing or development
- Prior 5-year experience in a similar Category or Sales Manager Role
- Ability to identify opportunities in current accounts to grow sales
- Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Adobe knowledge beneficial
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Competent in multi-tasking and working under pressure
- A team player - positive and upbeat.
