Imagine this: a clean slate, with the chance to design safety systems that are streamlined and reflect ‘work as done’ not ‘work as imagined’. You’ll be at the forefront of building a culture that enable safety, setting standards, and engaging with our teams to make safety a shared mission.

Reporting directly to the Head of HSE, you will be based at either our Milperra or Huntingwood dealerships. You will be responsible for overseeing HSE at these locations, as well as our Newcastle dealership.

**Your Role in Shaping a Safer Future**
- **Be a trusted partner**: Work closely with operational leads and team members to identify hazards early and foster a proactive safety culture.
- **Write the safety script**: Develop, review, and refine HSE systems, procedures and SWMS/SWPs to manage risk and keep our people safe
- **Engage on the ground**: Set the standard and engage with our workers to take ownership of their safety and be accountable for each other.
- **Close the gaps**: Undertake safety observations, audits and inspections, and drive continuous improvement
- **Lead from the front**: Lead and support risk assessments, incident investigations, and toolbox talks, ensuring safety is always a priority.
- **Drive solutions**: Analyse incident data, identify trends, and work with leaders to implement practical, risk-mitigating solutions.
- **Be a key voice**: Actively participate in HSE initiatives and WHS Committees to keep safety top of mind.
- **Coach & influence**: Work with our teams to prioritise health, safety, and wellbeing in all that they do.

- Qualified WHS professional with hands-on experience in work health and safety.
- Action-oriented, pragmatic and solutions focussed.
- A trusted safety voice, earning respect from frontline teams to senior leaders.
- Strong relationship builder, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.
- Natural coach and influencer, leading toolbox talks, refining safety processes, and tackling compliance challenges with confidence.
