**About the Opportunity**
Reporting into the HSE Manager, you will form part of a high performing team focused on delivering excellent levels of safety performance to clients and internal stakeholders. You will be instrumental in advising and coaching the stakeholders on site to deliver contemporary programs and services to affect sustainable change in Safety performance. You will play a pivotal role in driving a culture focused on first class Safety through coaching and development across all levels of your business unit. This will be achieved by partnering with the business to develop a culture that encourages accountability and collaboration.

**In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will**:

- Provide strong and timely advice to stakeholders on all aspects of HSE, Contractor and Risk Management
- Deliver excellent levels of coaching and mentoring to relevant stakeholders to encourage collective responsibility for HSE performance
- Work collaboratively with others to foster the development of systems, positive attitudes, and beliefs in support of achievement/ maintenance of a H&S culture
- Work closely with the HSE team to implement the business HSE strategy
- Development and review of HSE management plans for major projects.
- Tertiary qualification in Safety, Health and Environment or related discipline
- Relevant experience in a high-risk industry
- Proficient in leading investigation teams handling complex incidents associated with high-risk work scenarios.
- Extensive experience in implementing safety management system elements within intricate, multi-disciplinary environments.
- Skilled in people management, including coaching and mentoring direct reports.
