An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader - Parking to establish and lead our brand-new Parking Team.

Reporting to the Manager Environment & Regulatory Services, you will play a key role in setting up the team, leading four Parking Officers, and ensuring services are delivered in line with legislation, Council policies, and community expectations.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:

- Build and lead a new team from the ground up.
- Provide direction, support, and mentoring to Parking Officers.
- Oversee compliance with relevant laws and policies.
- Contribute to protecting and enhancing the amenity, safety, and wellbeing of the Camden community.

Essential:

- Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent, combined with substantial practical experience and in-depth knowledge of regulatory or compliance work.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Road Rules, Local Government Act and relevant legislation.
- Strong customer service, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures

Desirable:

- Local Government Experience
