**Graduate Program: Tomorrow’s Leaders and Problem Solvers**

**WHO WE ARE**

REMONDIS is one of the world's largest recycling, service and water companies. We’re a privately owned family company headquartered in Germany, with over 40,000 employees and operations on four continents. We’ve been here in Australia since 1982.

The waste industry is evolving at a cracking pace. REMONDIS Australia is also in the midst of our own organisational evolution. We are building the systems, processes and infrastructure we need to remain at the forefront of the circular economy journey.

We’re searching for recent graduates who have the curiosity, drive and resilience required to help us on that path.

Together, we believe we can achieve a more sustainable future; a future in which waste is a resource.

**What you’ll love**

We couldn’t be more excited to be hiring for Graduate to join our People & Safety teams

With many of REMONDIS’ current leaders joining through previous Graduate Programs, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built globally, for investing in wonderful graduate talent.

Our commitment to your career goes way beyond the program. During the architected two years, you’ll be parachuted into hands-on placements covering all corners of our People & Culture and Safety teams, giving you varied exposure, diverse experiences and a breadth of knowledge. You’ll have formal education in core areas (a very wide range is welcome and encouraged) and some critical abilities - including Commercial Awareness, Problem Solving and Creativity - at the same time working on powerful skills such as self-awareness, resilience and emotional intelligence and acquiring teamwork and collaboration tools.

You’ll be joining our business at a time of exciting transformation, where you’ll grow from opportunities to take accountability. You won’t be in ‘training mode’, rather your learning and growth will happen from being in a real-life setting, with exceptional mentors and a clear mission.

**Reasons you’ll stay**
- **Diversity of exposure**:From talent acquisition to employee and industrial relations and the full spectrum of HR reporting and analytics to support business leaders' decision making - you will get experience and exposure to the complete 'hire to retire' spectrum of people within an industrial business. Coupled with hands-on, deliverable and strategic involvement with our safety team. In two years, you’ll gain great depth of insight into how a People & Safety team supports the growth and strategic execution of a business.
- **Autonomy**:You’ll have the empowerment you need to be successful and the independence and autonomy to thrive
- **Flexibility**:You’ll be given the freedom to prioritise your time and working preferences
- **Work that matters**:Contribute to a more sustainable future. The solutions you’ll be representing will support businesses, the community and the environment
- **Career opportunities**:We are growing and with growth comes opportunity. Our vision for our graduate program is to see you grow and thrive in a fulfilling and long-term career with REMONDIS

**Who you are**
- **Degree qualified**: You have graduated in the last 12 months or will soon be graduating at the year-end in Human Resource, Commerce, or Business-related degree with a strong academic record.
- **Communications**: You speak and communicate in English fluently, with clarity of thought, active listening skill and the ability to convey your message effectively
- **Learning agility**: You’ll be able to grasp new concepts quickly, learning from mistakes and staying flexible and curious
- **Situational adaptability**: You’ll be able to read what’s required in any given setting and adapt your approach accordingly
- **Problem solving**: You’ll be adept at critically evaluating an issue or challenge, being able to think creatively and develop solutions
- **Motivation**: You’re driven to progress in your career and want to make an impact in the Waste and Sustainability arena

**Are you with us? To apply**:

- You’ll need a copy of a current license and proof of entitlement to work in Australia.
- You’ll undergo a police check and pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.

REMONDIS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we invite you to be part of an organisation that fosters a diverse workplace. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
