Law Clerk (Abuse Law) - Casual Positions

What are we looking for?

Are you currently studying Law in the Melbourne and looking for an opportunity to work with a well-established law firm? Our Abuse Law team is now seeking casual law students to work on a casual basis. We open to flexible work arrangements and part time days and hours.

In this role you will assist the team in managing and progressing abuse law matters, as you review reports and files and prepare draft legal correspondence.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Review, analyse and summarise documentation
- Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs when required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations
- Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients

What will you bring?

Ideally you will have the following:

- A keen interest in personal injury law, either as a current law student or similar.
- Exposure to Abuse Law or a similar plaintiff personal injury practice (highly desirable)
- Time management and an ability to multi task
- Outstanding oral and written communication
- Empathy and compassion
- A team player
