**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage a pack of dogs, ensuring they are safe, happy, and engaged throughout the day.
- Observe dog behaviour and interactions, stepping in to prevent any potential issues from escalating.
- Ensure that all dogs are treated with respect and care, providing individual attention when needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, offering updates on their dogs and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs by assisting with general daycare duties.
- Handle dogs of all sizes with confidence, ensuring their comfort and safety while in our care.
- Learn to read dog behaviour and use this knowledge to help manage the group and prevent conflicts.
- Follow all training and feedback from senior trainers to continuously improve handling skills.
- Stay focused and engaged throughout the day, maintaining a relaxed and controlled demeanor in a busy environment.

**Compulsory Requirements**:

- **Experience with Dogs**: While prior experience is preferred, full training will be provided by our senior trainer.
- **Quick Learner**: Ability to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to the needs of the dogs and the daycare environment.
- **Observant & Proactive**: Ability to notice subtle changes in dog behaviour or the environment and intervene when necessary to prevent any issues.
- **Calm and Controlled Nature**: Must have a relaxed, patient, and controlled demeanor, especially when managing a group of dogs.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both the team and clients, with kindness and empathy.
- **Tech-Free Environment**: Must be able to manage the day without relying on a phone, staying focused on the dogs and their needs.
- **Customer Service**: Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building relationships with clients and providing them with peace of mind.
- Has a natural ability to connect with dogs and a strong desire to help them feel comfortable and safe.
- Can take feedback and use it to improve their skills, ensuring the highest standard of care for the dogs.
- Is a quick learner and is open to growing within the role.
- Is observant, noticing changes in dog behaviour and environment and addressing them before they escalate.
- Has a relaxed and controlled nature, able to stay calm under pressure.
- Values communication and professionalism and enjoys building relationships with both dogs and their owners.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
