We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative with a solid understanding of air-conditioning, refrigeration or HVAC systems. In this role, you’ll act as a bridge between our clients and technical teams—identifying customer needs, proposing solutions, and closing sales that align with project requirements and industry standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Liaise with commercial and industrial clients to understand their refrigeration needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
- Promote and sell Zeal Refrigeration’s products and services, including customised system design, installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates aligned with client requirements.
- Lead pricing negotiations with clients, including payment schedules and credit arrangements; finalise service agreements and ensure all orders and contract terms are accurately documented and processed in internal systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery and high client satisfaction.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical advice regarding equipment selection, system configuration, and performance optimisation.
- Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge, including regulatory standards, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, providing ongoing support and ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Provide strategic insights and regular updates to sales management to support business planning and solution development.
- Monitor market trends and generate new leads through proactive outreach, trade shows, and industry networks.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies and contribute to the achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare regular sales activity reports and maintain accurate records of client communications, quotations, and business-related expenses for internal reporting and audit purposes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree ior equivalent qualification. Background in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5-year proven experience, ideally within air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC, or related industries
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
**Experience**:
- Air-conditioning, refrigeration, HVAC, or related industries: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
