Melbourne, Australia Bupa Full time

The opportunity

Bupa has a clear purpose - to help our customers live longer, healthier and happier lives, and make the world a better place. To achieve this, we are transforming our insurance and health services businesses across APAC to become the region’s most customer centric healthcare company.

At the heart of this change is APAC’s Strategy & Transformation Hub. This recently created team has brought together Bupa APAC’s existing Corporate Strategy and PMO capabilities under the common leadership of the Director of Strategy & Delivery, to create a true centre of excellence in the design, development and delivery of enterprise-wide strategic change. The Strategy & Transformation Hub will support the governance and delivery of key enterprise-wide programs, as well as working closely with existing delivery functions to ensure we are sharing best practice and developing consistent ways of driving change at a Market-Unit level.

Key accountabilities in the role include:

- Accelerating delivery of prioritised projects across APAC, by proactively supporting delivery teams and business sponsors to address interdependencies, risks, bottlenecks etc;
- Providing day-to-day leadership and management of the Transformation team, ensuring that the team provides consistent and independent assurance of delivery for prioritised projects;
- Providing direct governance and oversight of key enterprise-wide change programs, as well as guiding and facilitating relevant Executive review forums;
- Preparing reporting materials for relevant Executive forums. This requires collaborating with dispersed PMO teams responsible for their relevant Business Unit portfolio; and
- Developing the Hub into a centre of excellence within Bupa for program delivery, and in doing so, promoting and driving consistent ways of working, best practices etc across APAC.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)

Why work at Bupa?
- We keep our people smiling by helping them improve their lives in and outside of the office.
- We’re a welcoming lot, no matter who you are or where you’ve come from. We welcome all talents and backgrounds and embrace our differences, so you can bring your true self to work.
- We support our people to be the best version of themselves, physically and mentally. With a healthy work/life balance, leadership support, reduced private health cover, study leave, volunteering options and a commitment to promoting from within.
- Our employees can access wide range of benefits: from our own products (incl. health insurance discounts) to many other products and services via our partnerships program (like Apple, Samsung, JB Hi-Fi, plus gym and spa discounts to name a few). We reward our people and celebrate their success, provide initiatives that develop careers and look after our people’s health, wellbeing and futures

What do I need?
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, or finance.
- 10+ years of successful experience in transformation, program delivery, or enterprise PMO roles.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven track record of managing teams under time pressure to deliver high-quality results.
- Enterprise-wide thinking and ability to "connect the dots" of where we have opportunities to leverage existing systems / tools / processes and combine outcomes for more effective delivery
