**Your New Role Looks Like This**:
Are you a forward-thinking audit leader with a passion for technology, transformation, and data? At Australian Unity, we’re on a journey of significant digital and strategic change—and we’re looking for a dynamic Head of Audit - IT & Transformation to help us get there.

This high-impact role leads our internal audit activity across IT, data, and major transformation projects. You’ll also be at the forefront of innovation in the audit space—using data analytics and AI to drive deeper insights and deliver real value to the business.

As a senior leader, you’ll provide trusted assurance and advice on our technology and transformation risks, help us strengthen our internal controls, and guide a high-performing team of internal auditors and data experts.

**What you’ll lead and deliver**:

- **Strategic audit planning**: Shape and drive the Internal Audit Plan across IT, and enterprise-wide transformation programs.
- **Project assurance**: Lead end-to-end audits of major transformation projects—ensuring strong governance, milestone tracking, and risk management across delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
- **Innovation in audit**: Champion the use of Ai and other tools like Digital ACL Analytics and Tableau to drive testing efficiency and actionable insights.
- **Stakeholder collaboration**: Engage with senior leaders across the organisation—including the CIO, IT leadership, and cross-functional executives—to build trusted relationships and develop a deeper understanding of the business to provide meaningful insights.
- **Team leadership**: Inspire and empower a team of 3-5 auditors and data analytics professionals. Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and growth, aligned with our purpose and values.
- **Organisational impact**: Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives, lead key risk and people management processes, and support our broader strategic ambitions.

**About You**:

- Strong knowledge and experience in auditing IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and related controls, ensuring effective risk management and security.
- Proven ability to manage and oversee audits for large-scale business projects, evaluating project risks and controls, performance, timelines, and adherence to budget and other key controls.
- Experience in working in agile environment, agile principles and ways of working.
- Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- A strategic mindset and a passion for making an impact, continuous improvement and innovation
