We are currently seeking a casual Scientist to join our team providing backup support as required to our Biochemistry Lab. This role will include;
- Receiving and processing samples
- Analysing data, reporting and checking
- Daily equipment checks, required equipment calibration and maintenance
- Participate in ongoing training, including giving scientific presentations at Genea
- Provide literature reviews at laboratory meetings
- Participate and maintain laboratory testing QAP’s
- Liaise with colleagues, clinicians and patients.

**Qualifications**:
This role will suit a qualified Scientist who has **some exposure working in a Biochemistry Laboratory - ideally with some experience in immunoassay**. You will have an excellent attention to detail, good computer skills and be a strong communicator

You will be working as part of a small team so we really need someone who is flexible (Lab start time is 7.30am and you must be able to work Saturdays) reliable and available at short notice to jump in and help out.

Must be available for 4 consecutive weeks for training Mon to Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm
