We are hiring for an influential non for profit organisation in Australia as they embark on industry changing projects that make a significant and lasting impact in the broader community Looking for a motivated Data Governance Manager to drive the consistency in data management and contribute to the evolution of the organisation’s data strategy and policy.

Our client is looking for a confident, outside-of-the-box thinker to collaborate with strategy, data, and legal teams to capture business rules around data assets.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The go-to person for regulatory, contractual, and business rules.
- Lead the development and enhancement of data related policies, processes and resources to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Working alongside the Head of Data Governance and rolling out data governance frameworks across various projects and supporting ongoing successful development.
- Being an essential partner to all teams with strategic data groups to provide a consistent and independent approach to data sourcing agreements.
- Working with tech and data to establish effective processes and automation tools to ensure a high level of integrity of data assets.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years experience with implementing data management.
- Experience using Microsoft Azure as well as knowledge of operating cloud services for the purpose of secure data management.
- Deep understanding of modern data architectures and statutory frameworks.
- Experience building strategic platform roadmaps and end-to-end processes within a business.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
