Brisbane, Australia Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water Full time

Reporting to the Manager and the Team Leader Internal Communication, you will work as part of the Media and Communication team to provide internal communication advice and support to business units across the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water.

**Key duties and accountabilities**:

- Contribute to the coordination, production and publishing of materials and services related to internal communication related materials and services.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify stories, case studies, emerging topics and issues that should be communicated across the department.
- Support the Team Leader Internal Communication to plan and execute a comprehensive internal communication strategy.
- Actively monitor internal communication outcomes and report on internal communication activities to maximise effectiveness of engagement.
- Use Sharepoint, Vision6, Yammer and Microsoft Teams to deliver effective, targeted internal messaging.
- Ensure professional awareness of the latest technologies, techniques and networks available and identify opportunities to improve internal communication strategies for maximum impact and exposure for the department.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with project managers, project team members and the broader Media and Communication teamunit.
- Contribute to a challenging, equitable, ethical, and safe working environment for staff, encouraging commitment, skills development, professional growth, and continuous improvement directed towards the achievement of the Department's goals and objectives.
- Other duties as reasonably directed.
