Communications Officer

Your role is responsible for coordinating communications, marketing and community engagement activities for the Get Ready Queensland team and QRA.
- Develop and produce a range of marketing collateral, including web content, social media content, blogs, advertising, brochures, fact sheets and newsletters that meet brand requirements.
- Support the coordination, staging and promotion of events, presentations and meetings.
- Liaise and consult with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including responding to enquiries and supporting collaborative processes.
- Provide system support for the Get Ready Queensland team, including inbox management, CRM management, image library and calendar management.
- Administrative and project support functions relating to procurement, travel and internal communications.
- Maintain effective and efficient processes to support the Strategy and Engagement team.
- Undertake related projects and other duties of equivalent complexity as required.
- This role may be required to travel within Queensland on occasion to meet with stakeholders and to facilitate or attend events.
- Opportunities to travel post disaster events may be required to support QRA response and recovery operations.
