**About the role**

The Subcontractor Coordinator is an integral role within Babcock and key in driving the coordination and management of subcontractor tasks. It’s a great opportunity to work across multiple Navy assets and help us provide long-term sustainment services to the Royal Australian Navy’s ANZAC Frigates and Landing Helicopter Docks If you’re looking for a role that will challenge you, that will allow you to do meaningful and interesting work, then this role is for you Your day to day could include:

- Coordination and management of subcontractor tasks, acting as the first point of contact for allocated Repair Agents (RA’s);
- Liaise with RA’s to develop and maintain schedule to ensure timely performance and compliance with company and customer requirements;
- Prepare and provide status and variance reports, estimates/budgets, and risk mitigation plans;
- Manage the inspection and testing activities by third parties;
- Ensure Problem Identification Report's have been raised and monitor response progress against task schedule for impact;
- Provide Project Scheduler with subcontractor schedule performance and reporting.

- Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance;
- Trade background or Certificate IV in Engineering;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of accounting and purchasing/ process/ systems (SAP or other similar systems);
- Prior experience or knowledge working in the Defence Industry;
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
