A well-established, Australian owned and managed company that services repairs and maintains Building Maintenance Units (BMU’s).

What’s a BMU? These are specialised platforms and cages that allow safe access when performing building maintenance on high rise buildings including painting, window replacement, façade works, and window cleaning.

We have several roles available for skilled trades personnel including licensed electricians, fitter and turners, auto electricians and mechanical technicians.

Please state clearly if you have any trade qualifications. Pay commensurate with trade skills and experience.

Positions also available for skilled trades personnel in our Brisbane and Melbourne based operations. Please state clearly which state you are interested in working in.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate BMU’s to provide access to trades personnel and window cleaners on high rise commercial buildings.
- Train and Induct trades personnel and window cleaners to operate BMU’s.
- Ensure all personnel follow safe practices to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues and clients.
- To learn operation instructions for a range of different BMU’s and platforms.
- To troubleshoot any operational issues of BMU’s
- Completion of job cards and reporting to senior management.
- Perform any other duties as directed by Senior Manager.

**Experience/Skills required**:

- Previous BMU Operating experience not essential with a willingness to be trained
- Safety and care a priority and focus whilst on the job
- Clear verabal and written English communication skills
- Ability to take instructions
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- Punctuality, flexibility and honesty
- Self-motivated
- Reliable and committed
- A solid work ethic
- Physically fit (some heavy lifting maybe involved)
- The ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Clean drivers licence preferred but not essential
- Working at Heights Card required (discussed further at interview stage)
- White Card required
- Career opportunities if interested in electrical, mechanical or fitter trade work.

**Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal, Temp to perm

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Language**:

- English - fluent written and verbal (required)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (required)
- Working with Heights (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
