If you're looking to join one of the world’s oldest professions, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for Our Heritage Stoneworks team are seeking a Building Labourer to contribute to preserving the State’s heritage.

Our specialist Government agency is focussed on the restoration and conservation of iconic sandstone buildings. In NSW, we have over 1,300 state-owned properties made from sandstone that require ongoing maintenance, including hospitals, court houses, schools and police stations. We are also involved in commercial projects.

Our **Building labourer** is responsible for ensuring the safety and readiness of construction sites and for contributing to the overall efficiency and completion of construction and building processes through stakeholder liaison and fulfilment of building activities.

**In This Role You Will**

You will assist with the planning and/or delivery of a range of facilities and maintenance related tasks, including maintenance of the project site and manage small scale maintenance projects in a timely manner ensuring deliverables adhere to agreed scope, quality and budget.

This role has complete autonomy in day-to-day tasks and you will therefore possess great judgment and decision making abilities.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Experience working with construction tools, equipment and production machinery
- Experience in the movement, transport and storage of high value and sensitive heavy loads
- Working knowledge of current Work Health and Safety practices and regulations
- Experience in the handling and servicing of scaffold

**Essential requirements**
- Current NSW Forklift Licence
- Current NSW Construction Industry White Card
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current NSW Driver’s licence and ability to travel across sites within the Sydney Metropolitan area
- Ability to work reasonable overtime and on weekends as and when required
