**The opportunity**:
**Permanent full-time Dispensary Technician **at our large pharmacy in Richmond.

We are seeking a dispensary technician/pharmacy assistant who is eager to expand their expertise in customer service and dispensing whilst utilising their organisational skills in a whole new way.

The role will see our dispensary technician being customer focused, assisting the pharmacists in prescription flow and dispensing and labelling medications for patient collection. This role will also focus on maintaining communication with other departments within Slade Pharmacy Richmond to ensure exceptional customer service is maintained.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Managing prescription flow and liaising with pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are dispensed within a timely manner
- Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of medication stocked and supplied at Slade Pharmacy Richmond
- Dispense and label medication for customer collection
- Placing special customer orders for medications
- Working in the front of shop assisting customer enquiries
- Other ad-hoc pharmacy duties

**About you**:
We are seeking a self-motivated pharmacy assistant/dispensary technician who is keen to join a vibrant and growing team environment with an eagerness to learn a whole new genre of medications. Our pharmacists are passionate and they will rely heavily on the organisational skills of our dispensary technician. Exceptional organisational & communication skills are a must to execute and maintain efficient workflow.

**_Pharmacy experience is essential (if you have had exposure to working in a dispensary, that would be a bonus)._**

**Other key criteria**:

- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to work effective in a multi-disciplinary team
