**Who are we looking for?**
We are excited to share that we have a new leadership opportunity for a **Business Group Leader - Gold Coast **to lead our **Gold Coast Office **.

Through our connected global network of regional offices, GHD is well equipped to service the many substantial regional cities beyond our capitals. We support local and national infrastructure clients from our Gold Coast office with a focus on Transport, Environment and Defence.

As the **Business Group Leader - Gold Coast **, you will have the unique opportunity to blend your skills in leading and developing people, excellence in client engagement, successfully pursuing and delivering multi-disciplinary projects and driving excellence in business performance for your group. You will work closely with the Regional General Manager, Operations Manager and various Market Leader for South Queensland and be supported by other Business Group Leaders and our Business Development and Marketing Team as we together deepen GHD’s presence and capability across the Gold Coast.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you**:

- Provide a visible presence and face for GHD in the Gold Coast to connect with existing and potential clients and partners, and ideally be an enthusiastic Market Leading presence for us in the local community
- Lead and develop our people
- Develop and realise business opportunities, and ensure sustainable growth of the Gold Coast revenue
- Manage Business Group commercial performance
- Provide vision and direction for the Gold Coast business that links with the broader South Queensland business plan
- Be well-connected and influential, building and developing internal relationships
- Provide leadership to the Business Group in line with GHD’s values and purpose
- Build effective relationships with other Business Group Leaders in the region and nationally and with Market Leaders and Technical Service Line Leaders nationally.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- You will have a technical background in Engineering, Town Planning, Architecture Environment or Project Management
- 15+ years professional experience within a consultancy
- Demonstrated technical capability in delivering projects
- Effective & proven business development, networking, and client relationship management skills
- Proven track record to lead a team of specialists with a wide range of skills and experience
- Ability to develop lasting client relationships based on trust and delivery excellence
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects from proposal to completion
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop team members
- Provide technical leadership, often in multi-disciplinary teams for planning, feasibility studies, detailed design and construction project phases.
