**The Role**

The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for setting marketing strategy and resulting implementation of effective and efficient marketing activity for the Steelx Group’s businesses and brands. With a focus on quality lead generation, the Group Marketing Manager is responsible for staying abreast of market conditions and refining marketing strategy to suit, to maximise lead generation while balancing brand communication and awareness. This requires a mindset of continual improvement driven by data analytics and market insights. A specific, separate, focus needs to ensure that each brand carves out its own unique target market. Thus, further development of our brands is key to success.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead and nurture the marketing team of 5 to their potential, across a range of disciplines including digital, traditional, social, and content.
- Effective management of budgets and Franchise National Marketing Funds Strategy development, goal setting, measurement and resource management across lead generation and branding activities for all brands
- Engage and guide Directors and other managers on marketing strategy
- Manage performance and innovation of all Steelx Group digital assets
- Collaborate with major suppliers such as Bluescope Steel on promotions and initiatives
- Creation, measurement and innovation of all SEO and SEM activities
- Completion of appropriate reporting as required by the business and Directors
- The management and ongoing development of marketing automation channels
- Strategic planning of appropriate social media channels across all brands
- Creating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns aligned with our strategies
- Work with design and programming teams to launch new products and platforms into the business and to market
- Provide customer insights to the business and identify customer personas and strategies to target the different customer types

**What you’ll need to be successful**:

- 5+ years of marketing management experience leading teams with full budget responsibility
- Tertiary qualification/s in marketing
- Demonstrated people leadership and mentoring skills
- Advanced knowledge of a wide range of contemporary marketing disciplines, particularly digital, and be able to pull these together under an integrated strategy to get results
- Copywriting skills
- Advanced negotiation, persuasion and communication skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Experience in high-value goods in B2C markets highly regarded
- Experience in multi-brand or franchise environments highly regarded
