- ** Appointment is for a period of up to four years each term to a maximum of eight years**

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Monitoring and providing advice on risk management and fraud prevention systems and controls.
- Monitoring the compliance of council policies and procedures inc. overarching governance principles and, the Local Government Act 2020, the regulations, and any ministerial directions.
- Monitoring council financial and performance reporting.
- Monitoring and providing advice on internal controls.
- Monitoring and providing advice on risk management and fraud prevention systems and controls.
- Overseeing the internal and external audit functions, and monitoring compliance with CEO Employment and Remuneration Policy.
