Position - Staff Engagement Officer
Employment Type - Part-Time (30 Hours Per Week)
Award - Clerks - Private Sector Award (MA000002)

$26 - $31 p/h (3 month probationary period)
Location - Head Office: L2, 66 Victor Crescent, Narre Warren VIC 3805

The Staff Engagement Officer will provide the welfare and communication between our support staff and office. By liaising with staff on a routine basis and organising events to continue engagement.

Your Team Leader experience will help maintain a high engagement of our support staffing teams to maintain positive engagements with the vulnerable groups we work with. Being empathetic to staff needs is paramount, which underpins our staff support strategies.
This allows us to engage the most suitable community support workers to grow our passionate carer workforce and provide essential support to our clientele.
**What's involved?**
Primary Responsibilities & Key Duties
- Routine engagement phone calls.
- Event planning and management for staff and clients
- Staff welfare checks
- Day to day planning and administration tasks
- Liaising with Human Resources, Staff Coordination & Recruitment Team
- Assist with Staff Coordination Team as needed
- Liaise with the Marketing team to organise Social media and other marketing campaigns.
- The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the position._

**Academic or Professional Qualifications**
- Organisational Skills_

- Event planning experience
- Highly regarded qualification in the Human Services Sector (e.g., psychology, counselling, community services)
- Proficient in administrative tasks
- Proficient in mac environment and computer skills
- Experience in Social Media/Marketing

- Demonstrated skills in effective communication and well developed interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organisational and computer skills with a sound knowledge of a Mac
