**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team at Ventia. This role is incredibly diverse and will allow you to use your technical knowledge within a complex ASX listed organisation.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Financial Performance & Analysis Business Performance you will be accountable for providing concise, accurate, and valuable analysis on the performance of the group to the Executive Leadership Team and wider business to drive improved performance. This team also has responsibility for producing a robust business plan and annual budget that delivers on Ventia’s Strategy is in place

Joining the Ventia team you will become part of our Finance Academy initiative. This program brings together all Finance professionals across the business to partake in opportunities for continuous learning and training, mentoring programs, networking and social events aimed at promoting career development and recognition.

The role offers flexible working with time in the office and working from home.

**About the role**
- Monitor and understand the performance of the business including project performance and overhead control.
- Coordinate periodic forecasting of Group financial results including multi-year plan.
- Analyse risks and opportunities, define key financial and non financial measures, trends and and track progress.
- Prepare reports for shareholders and the ELT and respond to queries from CFO, ELT and directors and the finance teams.
- Support Investor Relations and Strategy teams.
- Prepare the monthly Group Finance Report including commentary, budgets, forcast and risk reporting.
- Support the development of SAP and BPC reporting to increase automation, and improve the timeliness and quality of financial information
- Drive and support the development to automate reporting and business data into PowerBi.

**About you**
- Tertiary level qualifications in relevant discipline.
- CA or CPA preferred.
- Well-developed financial accounting and financial reporting and analysis knowledge.
- Experience with SAP is essential.
- Exposure to SAP BPC would be highly regarded.
