Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a real impact in the public sector? We're seeking a Finance Analyst to join a dynamic team in Parramatta on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-level financial planning and strategic advice for a key government initiative.

The Role:

As a Finance Analyst, you'll play a critical role in shaping financial strategies by preparing detailed reports, assisting with budget development, and delivering meaningful insights to support senior decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports and forecasts.
  • Support budgeting processes aligned to government objectives.
  • Provide financial advice and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • Oversee General Ledger and reconciliation processes.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a strong background in financial management.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using SAP.
  • Proven capability in financial analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, integrity, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work with technology to streamline financial processes.
