Right now, we're looking for a commercial Credit Analyst with experience in the SME sector. Working closely with all areas of the business, you'll play a key role in helping small businesses across Australia and New Zealand access the finance they need to grow and thrive.

About the role

You'll be reviewing and assessing financial applications for small business customers, applying logic to the decision making process with the flexibility to make commercial decisions which are specific to the customer profile. You will work closely with the Sales and Lending teams to ensure risks to the business are appropriately mitigated. We pride ourselves as being 'common sense business lenders' and you'll want to join in that endeavour.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and verifying information presented in an application
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure appropriate structuring of applications
  • Assessing the creditworthiness and risk profiles of transactions

About you

  • You will already have exposure to Credit, either directly assessing transactions or working in an operational environment in a Commercial Finance
  • You'll be positive and friendly with a can-do attitude and a desire to think 'outside the box'
  • You will have a questioning nature and want to understand the 'Why' in what we do
  • You'll have no problem communicating with all levels whether on the phone or in writing
  • You can work autonomously and as part of a team
  • You'll have great attention to detail and you'll be proficient with basic Microsoft Office products
