WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**About the Team**

Based at the Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence site located in Redbank, QLD, you will be an integral member of the Electronic Solutions Software team and work in partnership with Technical/Project Managers and project teams on software integration, verification, deployment and maintenance of the prototype/production Virtual Simulation devices for LAND 400.

**About the Role**

As Software Integration Specialist, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Coordinate the integration activities of software, hardware and computer equipment of simulation training devices;
- Develop, improve and automate software deployment mechanisms;
- Establish and maintain configuration management of software loads, hardware and related documentation;
- Identify, isolate, document and explain software problems to the development teams;
- Support of V&V activities by preparing a stable test configuration in prototype or production environments;
- Implement preventive and corrective measures to ensure the availability requirements of a simulation device are met;
- Development of engineering documentation of system infrastructure; and
- Assist with business development in simulation and training related activities.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Demonstrated experience in Software Engineering related fields;
- Experience in software development and script programming languages;
- Broad knowledge in System Administration related tasks such as OS, networks and software deployment;
- Experience with networks, AD and Windows;
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field;
- Strong communication skills to communicate problems and collaborate with development teams;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
