**POSITION DESCRIPTION - ASSOCIATE INTEGRATION CONSULTANT**

**REPORTS TO ** Development Team Lead/ Integration Consultant

**POSITION PURPOSE**

This role is to assist with the delivery of high quality integration solutions including coding and configuration, ensuring our clients expectations are met and exceeded where possible. Your immediate personal goals will be to develop into an accomplished Integration Consultant, via a mentoring program and training provided in integration technologies utilized by our clients.

**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyse issues and develop fixes to existing integrations
- Escalate issues when encountered to the Development Team Lead
- Develop and deliver code and configuration to a high standard, including documentation and a suitable level of testing
- Follow prescribed coding standards and methodologies to ensure that code is version controlled
- Participate in code reviews and be open to working in a pair programming environment if required for quality assurance purposes

**PERSON SPECIFICATIONS**
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Software Engineering, Computer Science
- 2+ years commercial experience in Java or similar
- Understanding of web services like SOAP and REST
- Understanding of API Development and Implementation
- Display strong orientation towards ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery
- Reliable and able to produce a high quality of work
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a small team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively and proactively manage situations to achieve the desired outcomes
- Ability to work under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations in a logical manner
- Ideally worked in an Agile environment

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
