We are currently seeking a **Communications Technician - Trainee,** to work for an industry leading Iron Ore producer on a 8:6/7:7 roster, FIFO from Perth.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor within the Mobile Equipment Maintenance team, this role will see you focus on providing multi-skilled technical and field support to the mining operations for the entire scope of Technologies accountabilities, which include but are not limited to;
- Digital Radio Communication network.
- Fleet Management and Drill Positioning Systems.
- Driver Fatigue Monitoring Systems.
- Collision Awareness Systems.
- Communication Trailers. (LTE, CCTV)
- Identifying and rectifying faults during inspections.
- Scoping and creating 1SAP notifications for immediate and preventative work on fleet and equipment.
- Initiating updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in the implementing of the new initiatives in a constructive way.
- Executing tasks to a high standard and in a safe and timely matter.

**Selection criteria**
- Motivated and driven to pursue a career in Communications and Technology
- Current driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug screen
