RIX Ground Engineering (RGE) is an Australian company that combines the technical expertise of the major international ground engineering contractors with the dedication and responsiveness of a local company. Our excellent technical and operational knowledge allows us to tailor make solutions that give our clients the combination of cost, time and quality that best fits their requirements.
With a range of projects underway and on the horizon RIX Ground Engineering are looking to expand our team and employ an experienced Administrator to seamlessly coordinate the day-today operations of the business, whilst simultaneously supporting managers running the projects.
The full-time position offers consistent work hours, based in our Balmain office with the flexibility for hybrid work. Long-term opportunity for the right person and opportunity to grow within this role.
About the ROLE
- Provide general administrative support within the office and to staff located at project sites.
- Coordinate all staff travel arrangements, including accommodation bookings and flight scheduling.
- Manage and process daily and weekly timesheets, maintaining accurate attendance records.
- Schedule and oversee bookings for staff inductions, safety training courses, and medical assessments.
- Maintain and update internal databases and spreadsheets related to training compliance and project tracking.
- Assist with onboarding of new staff and manage weekly work programs, schedules, and rosters.
- Develop, review, and negotiate variations to contracts, programs, projects, and services in line with operational requirements.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to contracts, programs, services, and stakeholders.
About YOU
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable position in the construction sector is required.
- Experience with Xero, Damstra, 3D Safety, Pegasus and Upvise is required
- Be confident and professional communicator, with strong verbal and written skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast passed work environment
- Demonstrates a team attitude
- Able to grasp new systems and open to learning on the go
- Strong computational skills, particularly in Microsoft Office 365
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
