A new opportunity exists for a **Lead Rail Drafter** to be based at our Sydney office. You will be responsible for the production and documentation of technical drawings and ensuring drawings are coordinated and completed in accordance with standards, quality & time requirements. You will be required to work to instructions and to co-ordinate your work effectively with other Drafters, Designers, Engineers and Project Managers.

Key to the role of a **Lead Rail Drafter**, you will be the point of contact for drafting requirements for Rail projects in NSW, covering client requirements and standards, Jacobs CAD processes and quality assurance processes.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Demonstrated understanding of the design process, co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient management and delivery of projects within budget, program and quality constraints
- Multi skilled in the use of CAD software including AutoCad and Microstation.
- Solid experience in the administering and configuration of Projectwise for projects including technical support, set up and reviews.
- Experienced in document control and the setup and usage of platforms including Projectwise.
- Proven experience in change management i.e., the use of new CAD platforms and 3D BIM as required.
- The ability to support and mentor in the CAD technical area.
- The ability to manage a small team of drafters remotely and support in coaching & mentoring.
