Job Title: Drafter and Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafter and Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for managing drafting projects autonomously and leading junior drafters.

You will work closely with engineers and architects to prepare and coordinate documentation, conveying complex structural information into drawing formats that can be easily interpreted by builders.

In addition to your technical skills, you will provide training and support to junior drafters, assist in preparing preliminary sketch designs, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of drafting systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Drafter to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our team.

Requirements
  • A relevant TAFE qualification or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in structural drafting using Revit
  • A strong understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
  • Experience leading and supervising a team of Drafters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
