Manage small projects autonomously where no Lead Engineer is allocated Liaise with engineers and architects on the preparation and coordination of documentation.
Competently convey structural information into drawing format which can be interpreted by builders.
Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.
Provide training and assistance to junior drafters including technical support of Revit and other software.
Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systems Communicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team.
About you: This role is ideally suited to someone with: Relevant TAFE qualification or equivalent At least 5 years in a similar role Proficient in structural drafting using Revit Strong understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards Demonstrated experience to lead and supervise a team of Drafters Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
