**About the role**

We are on the hunt for an experienced and strategically minded Brand Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll be tasked with supporting the development and driving the implementation of the brand strategy to deliver growth in brand health, and drive people and customer engagement. You won’t just be working on any brand; we promise you’ll love working with Australia’s most quirky, playful and relatable brand as much as we do

**What will you be doing?**

We want you to create new and exciting strategies to bring the brand to life for all of our audiences. You will work with a great group of stakeholders to deliver the detailed plans and insights that allow our brand vision to be realised across marketing and the broader business, from strategy to identity and brand campaign development

**Day to day, this role could see you**:

- Creating and driving strategic pieces to inform the optimisation of the ahm brand.
- Introducing opportunities identified through insights analysis to support the optimisation of initiatives, propositions and marketing activity to increase relevance and engagement and drive growth.
- Developing and optimising brand guidelines and brand cues for existing and new emerging channels.
- Managing our creative agencies in developing brand campaigns for above the line media channels.
- Educating and empowering ahm team members on how to bring the ahm brand to life
- Act as a brand guardian, supporting various teams within ahm to ensure brand alignment of marketing and communications materials, new business initiatives and product launches.
- Taking some time out to restore and recharge - you might head out for a walking meeting in the sunshine, get to a lunchtime yoga class or schedule time in your calendar to get to your child's school assembly (as part of the Medibank Group, we have a huge focus on health and wellbeing. This means flexible working and continuous improvement to our ways of working flexibly, whatever that might look like to you).

You’re a brand guru with a strategic mindset, but aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You’ll be passionate about brand and insights and can demonstrate solid experience in understanding and actioning brand health metrics, agency management and campaign development. Ideally, you’ll have spent time working in the services space - think insurance, energy, or finance.

You’re a little bit obsessive about all things brand, as well as getting to know what makes our customers tick. You will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and be pretty confident in your ability to keep the plates spinning. You’re intelligent and you know your stuff, but you’re also excited by the thought of working for a brand that will challenge you to operate outside the usual corporate box - we keep it simple but most importantly fun. You can relate to our brand persona ‘Dependable Mate’; quick and witty, looking for the smile in life, but you can always trust him.
