An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to join the Assurance Branch on a full time, ongoing basis.
**The role of Audit Officer is responsible for**:
- Managing the department's audit follow-up process
- Contributing to any departmental reporting process on matters related to audit follow-up.
- Providing advice and assistance to departmental employees involved in the follow-up process.
- Maintaining the audit team's audit database (in TeamMate)
- Assisting in delivering internal audits (corporate and school) as required
- Building strong relationships with business areas and acting as a trusted advisor
- Working closely with business areas within the department, other auditors and VAGO auditors
- Leading and/or contributing to the branch's and/or division's improvement initiatives as required.
