**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced leader with supply chain experience to join our Logistics leadership team. The role of Capability Manager is pivotal in leading the individuals charged with executing existing programs and supporting new business campaigns through the provision of leadership and guidance, as well as supply chain expertise.
Residing within Supply Chain Management Capability, the Logistics team, is responsible for all Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics functions in support of BDA customer programs and internal operations. A large (80+) and geographically dispersed team, we have staff centered around SE Queensland, Williamtown and Adelaide, but also in; Oakey, Townsville, Darwin, Geraldton and Nowra. Daily functions performed include; Warehouse and Stores Management, Shipping and Freight, Specialised Packing and Handling, Dangerous and Hazardous Goods Management, First Line support to Maintenance, Inventory Governance, Tool Store operations as well as provision of SME advice on all TWL functions.
**Responsibilities**

- Enable collaboration across programs to identify and leverage commonalities, innovation and efficiencies across multiple programs
- Drive continuous improvement by communication and deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve costs, quality, delivery, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.
**Experience/Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams inside and beyond supply chain environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of Logistics and/or Inventory Management disciplines.An excellent communicator and collaborator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams from various supply disciplines
- An advocate for diversity and inclusion and will be actively involved in implementing change initiatives to achieve our diversity goals
- Personable and dedicated to support the growth, development and success of your team members
- Outcome focused and demonstrates a strong commitment to the Boeing values
- Experience in a Defence Supply and/or MRO environments advantageous.
