Our Parks Team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Parks Operator - Irrigation to join our team and actively manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the City’s irrigation infrastructure to ensure our horticultural assets thrive.
Reporting to the Supervisor - Irrigation, this position will support the City by:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of daily and weekly irrigation maintenance schedules associated with the City parks, malls, streetscapes, and other landscape areas.
- Operating and maintaining pressurised irrigation systems and the City’s irrigation central control (this includes the testing, repair, troubleshooting and monitoring of the City’s irrigation systems).
- Providing expert advice on all irrigation matters to staff, clients, suppliers and the community.
