- About the position
**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to join our high performing Finance department. This Full-Time opportunity is primarily responsible for providing accounting support for Balance Health Club and general accounting support within the Finance department. Key tasks and responsibilities will include:
**Balance Health Club**:
- Coordination of monthly direct debit and credit card member payments including rejections and appropriate liaison with members.
- Follow up on all outstanding accounts including monthly reminder letters.
- Liaise with debt collection agencies as required.
- Monitor and report membership debtors to management.
- Manage corporate invoicing and follow up of outstanding accounts.
- Manage insurance quotes and invoicing.
- Entering/extracting financial information from the Links system as required.
- Monthly reporting to management.
**Finance Department**:
- Accounts Receivable for Western Suburbs (Ncle) Leagues Club.
- Review Accounts Payable statements and maintain creditor files.
- Daily accounting procedures including cash transfers.
- Coordination of Archive process including maintenance of Archive register.
- Controls around EFT payment authorisation.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and grooming at all times whilst at work.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with relevant Safe Operating Procedures.
**About you**
With a solid background in Finance or Accounting, you will be passionate about numbers, organised, proactive, and thrive in a detail orientated environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must, as is the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Additionally, you will have:
