Hays are proud to be partnering with the Cyber Security directorate in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to recruit for an influential leadership role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a lead agency in digital innovation, who deliver technology, cyber security, digital leadership and services for the South Australian Government, industry and citizens.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Cyber Security and Risk, the Lead Security Architect will support the secure design and delivery of systems from conceptualisation through to operations. This role will develop secure practices and ensure security controls are implemented for all services delivered by the OCIO, whilst mentoring and supporting the team.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Successful completion, or demonstrated progression towards completion, of a recognised cyber security or architecture certification (e.g. Certified Information Systems Security Professional, SABSA Chartered Security Architect, TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, AWS Certified Security - Speciality, Certified Network Defense Architect) or other appropriate qualification and training.
- Significant demonstrated experience and expertise in strategic planning, cyber security, and security architecture in a large enterprise ICT environment.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of cyber security standards, architectural frameworks and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and governance of information security and network architectures in complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience in system security threat analysis and risk assessments, policy and standard development, architecture and design.
- Ability to effectively engage and drive change, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills to people at all levels
- Be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA)

**Benefits**

**Salary**

AS08 - $117,554-$121,992 + superannuation
