**About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide effective and efficient administrative support to staff, patients and visitors to facilitate effective clinical service delivery, whilst demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. Display professionalism whilst remaining calm and empathetic in delivering a patient focussed service as a member of a multidisciplinary team
About you
Assist with patient discharges and transfers through timely coordination of all required paperwork, transport and updating of hospital information systems.
As the primary contact on the ward, assist and direct visitors by accessing patient information and providing an effective and courteous front counter service.
Comply with and adhere to Queensland Health policies, procedures, standards and legislation relevant to the role and work area.
Maintain databases for the ward, under direction of Nurse Unit Manager or Clinical Nurse Consultant, as applicable.
