**Purpose of Position**

- The day-to-day management of the payroll process
- End to end processing of timely payroll management
- Manage the time and attendance system of employees (using BIPO)
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger
- Reconciliation and lodgement of monthly payroll tax return, monthly activity statement
- Reconciliation of payroll accounts and entitlements to the general ledger including month and year end processing
- Updating of employee records across HR systems and reports including leave records
- Assist HQ-HR department at all points of the employee life cycle - including job ad placements, contract preparation, orientation, inductions, reviews and exit interviews
- Provide administration assistance to all departments and store teams
- Support with various HR activities as required (training, on-boarding, etc.)

**Requirement**
- Knowledge of PAYG, Payroll Tax, Work Cover and Superannuation lodgements and payments
- Firm understanding of compliance with the current regulations applicable to the company's operational processes and procedures
- Ability to produce timely reports as required by management; and other ad hoc HR/administrative duties including outlet management/initiatives
