**The Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Database & Infrastructure Lead within our Cloud & Infrastructure Services team. This position will lead a multi-disciplined team responsible for administering, upgrading, and supporting the Department's database platforms, data centre infrastructure, and network infrastructure. The role combines technical expertise with strategic planning and team leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure services.

Reporting to the Team Leader Cloud & Infrastructure Services, your key responsibilities include:

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a multi-disciplined team across database administration, server administration, and network engineering functions
- Oversee the delivery of services by third party service providers on a managed-service basis, including regular review and reporting of service provider performance
- Develop and execute strategic plans for database platforms and infrastructure solutions, including establishment and testing of contingency and recovery plans
- Drive technical design decisions and contribute to architecture principles based on thorough requirements analysis and technical assessments
- Manage service requests and incidents to maintain high customer satisfaction while ensuring optimal system performance.

**Qualifications**
Formal qualifications in IT related discipline.

**Special Conditions**

The role requires occasional out of hours and weekend work.

Some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 pa + superannuation
