Do you enjoy creative, educational, and interactive content design? As an Instructional Content Developer, you will work with our team of experts in the development of innovative simulation-based training content. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our customers get the greatest benefits from our simulation-based training software. We encourage people from a variety of disciplines to apply, even if you don’t fulfil all the requirements. Maybe you’re an e-learning specialist, or a YouTube educator, or you create interactive training using video production and other interactive content development tools.

Contract role - 6 months, pro-rata salary.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research, write, and edit scripts that effectively simulate real world conditions in an engaging manner, suitable for adult educational formats including e-learning modules.
- Simplify complex ideas and concepts from various fields to develop models and frameworks that articulate these concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ensure all content meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and reflects current best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to implement technologies and improve educational outcomes.
- Commit to organisational values and security policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in a related field with a strong emphasis on adult learning and educational methodology. This could be Digital Learning, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, or RPG game design.
- Portfolio of previous work in creating comprehensive training materials, including e-learning modules, interactive software, and/or other instructional resources.
- Ability to understand and explain complex academic material, break down large amounts of information into interesting smaller parts.
- Exceptional visual, written, and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage projects to deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams, for example with a software development team.
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
