**Description**:
The Role
We are currently seeking a full time Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team in our Head Office in Mascot. This is a broad marketing role encompassing brand, communications, digital marketing, events and video creation.

**Some of the key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Create content for various platforms such as business announcements and news updates, employee training, client presentations and social media content
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials through Canva and Adobe Design programs such as posters, presentations and videos
- Assist in the updating of Star Aviation's company website and internal employee portal with up to date content and images
- Support the planning and coordination of internal and external events
- Support Star's various employee recognition programs
- Write compelling and detailed award submissions
- Assist with managing and updating Star's company website

**Skills and Experiences**:

- 1 - 2 years experience in Marketing or similar role
- Qualification in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in with Canva, Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with websites (specifically wordpress)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fast, efficient with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to take initiative when needed
- A strong desire to learn and grow while contributing to the marketing team objectives
