We are currently seeking a full time Meeting & Events Planner to join our team. This role provides a playground of possibilities for the events you will plan but also your career with IHG Hotels & Resorts.

**Your day to day**
As a member of our Sales & Planning Team, this is a key role focused on ensuring no stone is left unturned in the planning and coordination of our conference, wedding & special events. Whether its menu planning, theming, audio visual and entertainment or the organisation of accompanying accommodation, this role plays an integral part in making our clients vision a reality.

Reporting to our Business Development Director, you will be responsible for connecting our clients and hotel operations. You will manage and coordinate the end to end planning of events in the Hotel; from site inspections, follow-up, event planning and management. Throughout the event, you will work closely with our operational team to ensure its success.

**What we need from you**
- A passion for providing connecting and seamless service to ensure a memorable guest experience
- The ability to work at pace across multiple systems, event planning exposure is required
- A proactive approach to maintaining strong relations with clients and stakeholders
- A strategic and tactical thinker who can showcase the best of our region and estate whilst planning what is operationally efficient
- Excellent attention to detail and has a high standard of personal presentation
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country
