Permanent opportunity to lead the Service Desk & Workplace team of one of the largest start-ups in Australia
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Lead to manage a team of Service Desk and Workplace specialists at one of Australia's largest start-ups (200+ people). Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of the Service Desk team through coaching and developing the team while ensuring all delivery KPIs are met. This is a great opportunity to build your own team and set the standard within an organisation who are leading the way in their industry. It is a rare opportunity to work in a start-up like environment at an enterprise scale with true career progression.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Coach and develop the Service Desk and Workplace team (6 people) to achieve customer satisfaction targets
- Communicate organisational service level goals with the team and set clear objectives
- Identify, contribute and monitor areas of potentially business risk
**Required Skills**:
- Minimum 2+ years experience leading a Service Desk team
- Strong experience managing and evolving the desktop image, upgrades, security patching and configuration
- Track record of building and upskilling a team of Service Desk and Workplace engineers
- Comfortable with getting hands on and supporting the team when needed
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
