Administration Officer

This is a great opportunity for an administrator to take on a position in a Division that helps vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders secure grants of aid for legal representation. As an administration officer you will be responsible for a range of administrative functions across different grants activities.
**What you will do**:
- Provide administrative support to the external review, financial and compliance management functions of the division.
- Review court material and liaise with solicitors to assist with allocation of matters to Independent Children's Lawyers and Separate Representatives in accordance with Legal Aid Queensland policy and procedures.
- Data enter, validate, record and correct information held across a range of information technology systems.
**What you will bring to the role**:
- strong attention to detail and demonstrated administrative experience following procedures from start to finish.
- ability to effectively communicate with clients who have complex needs.
- experience using a range of information technology systems and can demonstrate the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- ability to adapt to changing priorities and confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
