**Senior Experience Designer (UX)**

Milestone Group is looking for a Senior Experience Designer to help us shape the future of our enterprise investment automation platform pControl.

**Key responsibilities**
- Leading the design delivery from Discovery to Build
- Driving conversations with very senior stakeholders to determine their goals and requirements
- Working with UI Designers and Engineers to define and deliver the user experience at various levels of fidelity from sketches to prototypes
- Being the bridge between user, business and technology, and so being able to find the right balance in a great user experience that delivers tangible value to the business at a reasonable cost to build
- Facilitating workshops and interviews with stakeholders and users
- Planning and running user research in order to explore a problem space and validate solution designs

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Highly collaborative - a keenness to exchange ideas, thoughts and feedback with team members and stakeholders, and be able recognise opportunities to collaborate in order to arrive at a stronger solution faster
- Big picture thinking - an ability to move beyond screen level design, thinking about context, ecosystems and flow
- Pragmatism - a pragmatic understanding of how to get the best experience in the context of the cost to build; good cross-functional perspective to collaborate with Developers and QA
- Immersive - able to deep-dive very quickly into complex situations; able to research, synthesise, understand and recommend solutions
- Autonomous - able to scope and prioritise tasks independently
- Have at least 6 years of demonstrated experience in UX across research, product strategy and interaction design
- Have at least 4 years of recent experience on Lean-Agile-scrum build projects
- Have a broad portfolio of work that includes recent projects where they have had full ownership of delivering the design project
- Have exceptional interaction design skills and a laser-sharp attention to detail
- Want to deliver a high standard of work and be a part of a high performing team
- Are comfortable with complexity and being pushed outside their comfort zone
- Take a data-driven approach to design wherever possible
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have worked in the funds/financial industry
- Have designed enterprise software solutions
- Strong UI Design skills, able to work with, extend and enhance existing product
- Figma skill desirable
